It is both a joy and an honor for me to serve as the Honorary President of the 56th Lévis Desjardins International U11 Tournament. I’ve been playing hockey since I was a child, and my passion for the game has never faded.

I have wonderful memories of my own participation in the Atom Tournament. I made friendships that have lasted to this day, and I sincerely hope that all the young players will experience the same sense of belonging, positivity, and personal growth. Today, I have the privilege of watching my 13-year-old son thrive on the ice as well.

Thirty-five years ago, my father, Michel, accepted the same honorary role. It is deeply meaningful for me to support a sport that values friendship, discipline, the benefits of physical activity, and the lessons learned from both victory and defeat. It’s also a special opportunity to reaffirm my strong personal connection to the City of Lévis.

When I was invited to take on the honorary presidency of this 56th edition, I didn’t hesitate for a moment. I would like to thank the tournament organizers and all the volunteers who have worked tirelessly for months to make this international gathering a success. Thanks to you, hundreds of young players will enjoy an unforgettable life experience.

It will always be a pleasure to meet you at the arena — a place filled with memories, moments of personal achievement, and, for some, the very beginning of a promising career in sports.
